And She's Back...

A GREAT BIG shout out to fellow blogger, Braddah Lance from Wassup Wit Dat fame for helping me get back on line.  I was locked out of the website and he was able to help me...(I am a crafter and so not techie)...it was nice "chatting" with him and touching base as I haven't been in touch with him since I left the Honolulu Advertiser back in the day.  Really didn't think he would remember me...lol!

Anyways...I'M BACK!

This weekend is Mother's Day...did you get Mom a special something something for Mother's Day?  You can always make her something...write her a poem, take a family picture and frame it, cook for her, give her a journal, make her a card with special thoughts written by you.  All of these things don't take a lot of $$$, but it means so much!  Most (and I say MOST mommies don't care that you spend $$$ on them).  As an example, we took a family photo at Easter and I had it blown up to poster size at Walmart for less than $6.00...I put it in a frame and it looks so wonderful on my wall...love it, love it, LOVE IT!  Take a funny photo of yourself or the kids, put it in a frame and give it to mom...it doesn't have to be a formal pose, a funny pic is always great!  The ideas are endless - doesn't cost a lot, you just have to take the time and DO IT, you'll be happy that you took the time to do it.  Here's a copy of the poster that I had made...you don't have to make a poster, you can just make an 8x10...frame it!   Ya don't have to hire a photographer...(we put our camera on a chair and put it on timer) it worked out great!

  Here's the funny version!

These things can be done in 24 hours!  You have until Sunday!!!  Go Git er Done...it's for MOM for Pete's Sake...think of all that Mom has done for YOU and always asking nothing in return.  She's always there for you...really, Mother's Day shouldn't be just observed one day of the year...you should treat your mom as the queen that she is ALL year long!  Just sayin'!
