I'm referring to driving...and life in general. Take it easy out there. Geez, what happened to Drive with Aloha & Living The Christmas Spirit? Peeps are in such a rush to get to where they're going they tend to forget that! Cut in front of you and don't even say thank you, like you're supposed to let em in. Rushing from one place to another, thinking about all that you have to do. Blah, blah, blah. No wonder the world is filled with a bunch of grumpy people.
I'm one of those people that always let others in when driving. I always wave thank you when someone lets me merge. My daughter and family (with newborn in the car) were recently in an accident where thankfully they weren't injured, but their car was totalled because a 19 year old driver was rushing out of the Macy's Pearlridge parking and ran into them...he looked right but didn't look left when turning onto the main road ~ AUWE.
For Pete's sake ... s-l-o-w down...you'll get to where you're going!
On another note...I walk around with a smile on my face and more times than not, make others smile back. Have you noticed that when you have a smile on your face, people tend to smile back? I make it a point to look at people to pass on a genuine smile...sounds quirky, but I swear I was put on this earth to see how many people I can make smile. You, should see how many people you can make smile in a day as well! If we ALL do that, can you imagine how many happy people there would be!
